Anyone thinking of a Frigidaire product you need to run
I am uncertain what product to start with the Frigidaire air fryer thats absolute trash, the fridge thats three years old. We paid $5000 for and is non-repairable after three years its trash, the standup freezer door that lost its seal in one year and everything thaws out constantly in it the dishwasher that is not washing the dishes.
We have bought from Teppermans. We have bought it from the bricks. We have bought it from a local small company, Tom and Als in our town., Everything has broken down and his garbage within a few years. Its not the companies youre buying it from.
Its from Frigidaire itself. They are spitting out absolute garbage and I dont know how the government of Canada has not shut these crooks down.

Customer service and the company lack ethics and fair judgment. We bought a new fridge from Frigidaire, which was not working properly and had a manufacturer's defect.
Upon contacting customer support, they said they agreed to provide a replacement but wouldn't remove the fridge doors to bring it into our unit. They demanded us to hire installers, otherwise they wouldn’t provide the replacement. I have attached screenshots for proof.
If you don't want to spend money on manufacturing defects, then do not buy any products from Electrolux or Frigidaire. Avoid purchasing products from Electrolux or Frigidaire.

Purchased. Frigidaire Freezer in March 2021.
After only having the freezer for three years it has stopped running and therefore I have lost frozen food.
It seems to me that there should be a better warranty and for an appliance to not run after only three years is ridiculous.
To have a repair person come to even look at the appliance it is $200.

Got a new fridge delivered and there is a broken waterline where the filter is. 14 days of calling them, being told service is booked just to find out it wasnt.
Cant get a return number to send it back from where I got it because they say a tech need to come out.
Have been lied to on 2 occasions when they said it was booked. I called the companys, one had no record of it and the other said they already told them they cant because they are 2 hours away.

I purchased one of their dishwashers in Aug 2022.

Issue: The bottom and top racks are rusting out from the inside, breaking open the coating.
I called the customer service department on Dec 18th, to see what could be done as I believe this is abnormal. I was told that the unit is out of warranty, and there was nothing that could be done.
I was offered 50% off the price of the racks, I asked to speak with a supervisor and was advised that no supervisors were available and that I would have to call back when one was available. I was notvery pleased with the response.
I called back the next day and I spoke to someone and explained the situation again and wanted to speak to a supervisor. The person advised me she was with the warranty department and that I had already been told that there was no warranty by the customer service agent. Again I asked to speak with a supervisor and was refused.
She then advised me that in any event the warranty does not cover rust as it is cosmetic.
I asked her if she was a technical person, or understood what I was trying to explain. I then asked to be transferred to someone that spoke French and was transferred to warranty in Canada, but the call never got through.
As a Frigidaire customer I was very disappointed in the responses I have received. I was never asked anything about the issue with the product, I would think that as a manufacturer they would want to receive information on product issues, regardless of whether it is under warranty or not. The attitude of their customer service rep and in particular that of the person in warranty was dismissive.
I am sure my frustration was evident in my communication with her. It is now Feb 2, 2024, and I have sent 4 complaints in both French and English, and have yet to receive a reply.
I also filed a complaint with BBB. I would never again buy one of their products.

I will never recommend or purchase another Frigidaire product. Our fridge is one and a half years old and the freezer is broken.
It is a piece of garbage. It was built cheaply and is not built to last.

Delivery man had to put the fridge together upon delivery. The left door would not line up with the right door. He said call the company they will send you a specialist that will be able to fix it. Specialist put a level on top of the fridge and said it is level. Ok the fridge it self is sitting level but the door is about 1/4" off from the other door. You can see it.
We complained, Frigidaire sent a new repair man. He could not fix it, he told us that it is a manufacture defect. He said they should send you a new fridge. Not a chance in *** Over the year they have sent us at lease 6 or 7 different repair men from about 3 different companies they have replaced gasgets / door etc... but nobody has been able to fix the door issue. Now the fridge itself is making a strange noise that it never made in the first few months. I feel maybe it is over working itself because of the door not sitting properly.
The fridge just celebrated it's first year in our kitchen and is still not fixed.We called again and because it is over one year they tell us to call our extended warranty. I said that you have never fixed this ongoing problem.
We have asked to talk to someone higher up more then once, but no one has ever called us back.
Frigidaire COULD CARE LESS. Also two out of 3 drawers broke in the first few weeks. That is cosmetic they say.
Preferred solution: Replace this fridge with a new one. Or full refund and I'm happy to shop somewhere else.

Very poor customer service!
Purchased laundry center NOT EVEN A YEAR ago. Called numerous times to customer service apparently Canada (NOT) These people are useless.
Was told to call my own repair for service as the dryer drum is rubbing, scraping noise. That's what I called for service on warranty, told this person that it was his job to find the repair that I need. Getting nowhere with the so called canadian repair, after 3 times, I call the US number. They transferred me again to canadian number and was told that I would receive phone call from repair.
Placed original call Monday morning, ow Friday after 4 calls, I asked who the repair company was and got no answer. Fridgeaire step up proper customer service for canadians!

I bought a repair pen. When pulled out of box the outside of pen was so sticky, this pen must of leaked.
Call Frigidaire company 14 days ago. Dan the gentleman that I spoke to said they will send a return label in 5 business day. Still have not received it. I called again today and for some reason this is not on fill.
The man I spoke to today said he will transfer me to refunds after he waited 20 minutes of my time. Still on the phone waiting this is now 59 minutes and still waiting.
I think they are hoping I hang up. This is the worst service I have ever experienced I will never deal again with this Frigidaire company.

Electronic control centre has broken three times in six years on it. It’s cost us more than the stove cost us, when it was new!!

I purchased a Gallery fridge (FG4H2272UF) in July 2021. It was lovely looking and I will give them top marks for design.
Unfortunately, it stopped working after two short years. A total sealed system failure (refrigerant leak) and this company takes zero responsibility for it.

In March 2023, I made a significant investment in a Frigidaire wall oven and microwave combo, purchasing it from Home Depot for over $3,800. Expecting reliability and quality, what followed instead was a tale of FRUSTRATION AND DISAPPOINTMENT.
Merely seven months later, the unit CEASED TO FUNCTION.
Believing in the brand's customer service, I reached out to Frigidaire, who assured me that a technician from Stein Appliances would attend to the issue. The wait was EXCRUCIATING, lasting TEN DAYS, during which the absence of a functional oven and microwave SIGNIFICANTLY DISRUPTED OUR HOUSEHOLD ROUTINE.
The technician's diagnosis was that the unit was IRREPARABLE and promised to report this to Frigidaire, suggesting a replacement. However, three days later, I discovered that Stein Appliances had NOT sent any report. After contacting them, they apologized and promised immediate action.
Yet, instead of advocating for a replacement as initially stated, they reported the need for ordering FIVE DIFFERENT PARTS, suggesting a PROFIT MOTIVE in repairs over customer satisfaction.
Confronted with this inconsistency, Stein's response was UNSATISFACTORY. Reluctantly, I agreed to the repairs, to which they promised a part delivery by November 27th. The date came and went with NO RESPONSE. Upon inquiry, they mentioned a BACKORDER, delaying it further to the end of the week.
Frustrated, I implored Frigidaire for a REPLACEMENT.
In response, Stein misleadingly informed them of having the part in stock and a scheduled appointment. Today, November 30th, the promised day of repair, NO ONE HAS SHOWN UP. Each call reveals further DELAYS AND UNFULFILLED PROMISES.
My patience has been TESTED BEYOND REASON. Over a month has passed since the unit failed, and I am left WITHOUT A FUNCTIONING OVEN, despite having paid nearly $4,000 for it.
The lack of a local Frigidaire office in Canada complicates matters further, as their customer support, outsourced to the Philippines, seems POWERLESS TO EFFECTIVELY RESOLVE THE ISSUE.
In this ordeal, Stein Appliances' actions appear driven by PROFIT, showing a preference for ordering parts and accruing service charges rather than addressing the customer's need for a functioning appliance.
Meanwhile, Frigidaire's inability to enforce accountability or provide timely solutions is DEEPLY DISAPPOINTING.
As a customer caught in the middle, I have endured SIGNIFICANT INCONVENIENCE AND DISSATISFACTION. This experience has severely tarnished my view of Frigidaire Canada and Stein Appliances, a cautionary tale for potential buyers seeking reliability and responsive customer service.

I hope this email finds you well. I'm writing to address a quality issue with the Electrolux dishwasher I purchased on October 25, 2022.
After just 8 months of use, rust has developed on the bottom rack.
Upon reaching out to customer service, the initial inquiry about whether the dishwasher was kept in the basement left me questioning the professionalism of the service team. Despite providing detailed explanations and sharing pictures of the rust issue, a ticket number for a service agent was provided and abruptly cancelled with an explanation that the problem wasn't covered by the warranty.
During our exchanges, I received unhelpful suggestions, including the notion that improper use might be causing the issue. However, with only two people in our household, it's clear we aren't overusing the dishwasher. As well, for a product meant to handle water exposure, rust after less than even a year of use is as expected as a gas leak in an oxygen tnak.
After four months of correspondence, I was provided with DIY instructions to fix the rusty dishwasher, which is unacceptable given the significant cost of the appliance.
I firmly believe that rust inside the dishwasher is a manufacturing failure, not a cosmetic issue.
Washing dishes in a rusty dishwasher is undesirable and raises health concerns. While I understand this is not the most expensive model, basic quality standards should be maintained, even for more affordable products.
I value the reputation of Electrolux, a well-known company in Europe, and question the apparent difference in quality standards for North America.
I've investigated customer reports on various websites, revealing persistent complaints about rusty racks without resolution. I sincerely hope you can assist in addressing my concerns and finding a satisfactory resolution.

Sealed system failure and it appars to be a manufacturing defect. It is probably time for a class action lawsuit against Fridgidaire/Electroluxe
