Faulty appliance and No Accountability

Greetings,

I purchased the Frigidaire air conditioner model #FHPW122AC1/Serial #2150**** in June of 2023.

In June 2025 the appliance no longer blows cold air.

All steps have be taken to use, store, and clean the appliance and parts as directed in the manual. We have followed all the trouble shooting protocols as outlined by the manual, Frigidaire videos, and your own customer service reps to try to remedy the problem, with no success.

We contacted an appliance technician who stated that it would be cheaper to buy a new air conditioner.

The appliance is lightly used, probably turned on for a maximum of 100 half days over the last two years. It is unacceptable that the product should break down so soon.

It suggests faulty manufacturing and/or planned obsolescence, with no accountability from Frigidaire. One should not be expected to pay for extended warranty on top of the price in case of break down after a mere 100 uses of the appliance.

Now, 2 years later, I need to buy another $700 air conditioner!

My call to action is that Frigidaire would provide some sort of monetary goodwill gesture that reflects taking responsibility for their faulty product.

I would appreciate some sort of response.

Shocking customer service Electrolux and Frigidaire

Spoke and chatted with multiple support agents over the last 8 days. No one was able to assist.

I had put in a service order for a faulty laundry center. They charge in advance for the trip. They said someone will contact me in 24-48 hrs and that's it. No one called back.

Despite multiple calls and chats, no one can tell me when I will have someone visit to assess/fix the problem. Meanwhile, I'm without a working laundry system for 9 days now. Three different times I asked for escalation and kept getting put on hold for extended periods of time until they disconnected. No one knows how to refund and cancel the order.

The website says $120 for a field visit, but they charged me $195.

No explanation. Here I am waiting for days for someone to contact me and no idea if someone ever will.

Over the past 6 years we have purchased 3 EFIC452-SSBLACK portable ice maker, they have had the exact same problem (squeaking/ buzzing/howling sound) I have emailed customer service 3 times and no response!!! démarches judiciaires dans les 15 jours qui suivent.

Les raisons qui suivent expliquent pourquoi ceci est nécessaire.

Première intervention : le 10 février 2025, soit 5 mois après l'acquisition du réfrigérateur, les Ateliers Paquette ont été contraints de

remplacer une pièce car le congélateur avait cessé de fonctionner.

Deuxième intervention : le 3 mars 2025, le même problème se répète : un rendez-vous est confirmé pour le 13 mars 2025 (un délai de 10

jours).

Ticket no. 879-816-****: celui-ci est l'autorisation du manufacturier.

Lors de la visite de lhomme dentretien, il nous avise quil doit remplacer le compresseur et autres pièces. Il nous suggère de contacter

le manufacturier pour une date de la réparation.

Jai aussitôt communiqué avec le manufacturier. (Ils ont accepté de remplacer le congélateur, ticket no. 8801****. La livraison est

estimée à 1 à 10 jours. Ils m'ont même vendu une assurance prolongée à un coût de 183.00$.

Lorsque j'ai recontacté Atelier Paquette, ils m'ont informé qu'ils avaient les pièces nécessaires pour réparer le congélateur, mais qu'ils

n'étaient pas en mesure d'effectuer la réparation avant le 28 avril 2025.

Aujourd'hui, le 28 avril, ils nous informent qu'ils ne peuvent pas effectuer la réparation car leur technicien n'est pas entré au travail. Ils

ont donc remis cette réparation à jeudi le 8 mai 2025.

Après une période supérieure à trois mois, je doute qu'un tel délai soit acceptable.

Je me demande plutôt si les pièces sont disponibles.

I bought FFHT1814WW on August 13th, 2023. Last July, all the food in my freezer defrosted, and I had to throw it away.

Also, last summer, water was coming onto the fridge side, so I used a rag to clean it up.

Now this winter, everything in the fridge is frozen. It looks like I bought a garbage fridge.

I had a visit from an approved Frigidaire repair person so he could fix the 'door open' message that kept appearing on the door panel. After a $361.00 visit, I was told I would need a new door which would cost me $1,000.00 - something related to crimped wires.

Additionally, another $500.00 to repair the seal on the ice maker. I understand there is a recall and/or lawsuit pending regarding Frigidaire/Electrolux with respect to the door issue. This fridge is only 4.5 years old and has not been abused. I paid a lot of money for this fridge.

It should last much longer than 4.5 years.

I believe that Frigidaire should replace my door at no cost. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

After numerous service calls to repair my Frigidaire dishwasher, it still continues to have the same problem. I was told to call customer service with file number 8755**** via Elite Appliance Repair.

Can somebody please return my call so that we resolve the code i20 that interrupts the completion of a complete cycle.

Two reputable service companies have looked at the dishwasher and claim to have replaced parts and reprogram calibration and perform a system refresh. The unit is still throwing a code.

It has been determined that the drainage is great, our home was built 5 years ago and professionally plumbed.

I'm sending a 10-minute video to show the incompletion of a 30 minute cycle.

With a following video showing the beep and code. Beyond DISAPPOINTED in this dishwasher.

Dishwasher rack rust problem

Im having a problem with Fridgaire and Electrolux regarding my dish washer that only 2 ½ years old.

Here is a copy of the email sent to them with the photos of the problem.

Dear customer service Ive purchased my dishwasher on March 25, 2022 and delivered on April 5, 2022. Frigidaire

Model # FFCD2418US

Serial # TH2119****

We are only 2 adults using the dishwasher twice a week only.

We never put our pots and pans in the dishwasher, we only wash them by hand. Our request is regarding the racks in the product, especially the bottom one. They are rusted be on normal usage which is not normal for which the dishwasher is only 2 ½ years old. Our last dishwasher which we had for over 10 years, the racks started to rust after 8 years.

Ive talked to Joe at Frigidaire and got nowhere with them.

Im sending my proof of purchase and the photos so you could see for your self the issue the we are having with the racks.

Also you can see that the quality of the racks are of poor quality from your supplier.

Ill be looking forward in hearing back from you as soon as possible.

Was supposed to get a manager call back and they just never did call. Awful company.

Purchased a brand new fridge after our other one quit. It was for a rental property.

Nothing but issues from the very start. They scheduled numerous maintenance calls for technicians to fix. The tenant lost her food multiple times. They essentially dragged it out with tech calls until it was out of warranty instead of replacing it, and then offered us 40% off to buy another fridge.

Awful customer service and I do not recommend anyone to buy this type of fridge. Stay far, far away!

Customer service were not very helpful. Having issues with the bottom of my stove.

Bottom shelf was damaged due to self cleaning. They will not replace the item and I was told by customer service that I shouldn't be using the cleaning function if it's going to damage the stove.

Customer service was unable to assist me and provide me with a quote for the piece that's damaged due to a defectively manufactured product. They will not provide a replacement for the damaged item.

Initially, I was told that there was a one-year warranty on the item.

However, when I called, I was told that there's only a six-month warranty for certain parts. There was poor communication and customer service.

I still after 2 weeks have SAB SABBOTH MODE ON MY STOVE .I CANT GET IT TO GO OFF .i had someone look at it and there unsure of what else TO DO .Ihave unplugged the stove plugged back in Ive turned the fuse off didnt work and tried the buttons in the manual and YouTubed googled and nothing I will never by a fridgadare again period

FAULTY BRAND NEW FRIDGE Zero Stars

I purchased a brand new fridge with an extremely loud noisy fan, as soon as I plugged in the fridge. 4 repair people have attempted to fix this issue over an 9 month period.

They suggested to swap the fridge for a new one as the issue persists. The repair people even commented that the fridge is incredibly loud and vibrating. Fridgidaire continues to inform them to keep trying to fix it instead of providing me with an exchanged fridge. I've lived with the insanely loud and disturbing faulty brand new fridge for 9 months!!

The noise wakes us up at night, and is so disturbing to listen to all day. Never ever will I recommend or purchase Fridgidaire products again.

This has been the worst experience for me, having to live with a fridge that sounds like a Helicopter in my entire house. I'm just appalled and disgusted that this has not been rectified over 9 months, and Fridgidaire refuses to replace the faulty fridge I paid money for.
